So evocative, especially since I find trees to be very spiritual. I also love the idea of letting readers experience the artwork, with no explanation. Readers are free to have their own experience, and come up with their own explanations.
Thanks Alan! The juxtaposition of these paintings creates an effect that is similar to poetry for me. We will do similar painting poetry at times in the future – putting things together so that the whole is more than the parts.
